To support this, we’re looking for a Head of Quality to lead quality excellence across engineering, design, and construction.
What will you be doing as our new Head of Quality?
As Head of Quality, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality management across the @one Alliance. You’ll develop and implement a forward-thinking quality strategy, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering a Quality Strategy that aligns with the @one Alliance’s objectives.
- Leading and inspiring a team of Quality professionals to drive high standards across engineering, design, and construction.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) and regulatory requirements.
- Embedding a culture of continuous improvement, using data analytics tools like PowerBI and AMS to drive performance.
- Managing quality assurance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with SHEQ, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to maintain and enhance quality standards.
About you:
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, ideally within the water sector.
- Experience in developing and delivering Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering collaboration.
- Knowledge of audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- CSCS competence card and Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for driving change and innovation in quality management.
