Barhale is a business founded on family values having been established by our Chairman, Dennis Curran in 1980. We are one of the largest privately owned civil engineering and infrastructure specialists in the UK, with over 40 years of experience in providing design, civil engineering and maintenance services working across multiple sectors including:

IT Apprentice
The Role
We have a great opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for IT to join a growing team. The position is a varied one where you will be able to experience different aspects of IT support within a business environment. Primary duties are listed below but these are by no means exhaustive.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with logging issues (from phone calls or emails) onto the call management database
- Learn how to resolve queries or escalate these to the Service Desk Analysts
- Assist with setting up new devices (Windows laptops, Android devices, printers etc.)
- Prepare equipment for dispatch.
- Maintaining the IT equipment asset register and arranging dispatch/collection of IT equipment to end users.
- Maintain stock levels of IT equipment, and order replacement items as required.
- Contacting end users/follow-up calls for feedback on service.
- Monitoring daily/weekly reports to ensure services are running as expected.

Person Specification:
The successful candidate is likely to meet all the following criteria:
- An interest in IT/Technology.
- Good telephone manner
- Excellent attention to details
- Experience in using Excel would be beneficial.
